Jewelry making workshop for beginners and advanced students

Just some information about the teacher, myself Hans Sandor Nagy.

Since 2001 I started as a goldsmith at Frohmann's in Antwerp and soon I was working from home in a secondary capacity. I also took engraving and setting classes and perfected this further. My daily activities are repairing jewelry as well as making new handmade wedding rings, engagement rings with diamonds, and transformations of old gold. I taught goldsmithing at Syntra West Kortijk for 2 years after which the passion to pass on craftsmanship grew and my workshop was completely converted from 2 workbenches to as many as 9 workbenches!

The studio, what is present?

It is a bit of a show off but nevertheless my studio belongs to 1 of the largest studios in the Waasland area. The studio is equipped with the most modern equipment (something that is often debated in the profession, "a good goldsmith can work with anything"). , yet it is an indisputable fact that it is easier and smoother to work with good equipment.

When can I take classes?

There is the possibility of taking classes during the day by mutual agreement. Standard is just evening school from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. This is possible every evening and already starts from a minimum of 2 persons. My preference, however, is to limit the number of people to 4 per evening class. We work with groups through a WhatsApp system. In case of interest one sends in the group when one wishes to come and as soon as 2 persons are available the lesson goes on after confirmation by the teacher. Sounds a bit cumbersome but it works fine for now!

What does it cost?

The cost is € 55 per lesson ( 3.5 h)

Per purchase of 5 lessons : € 250

What classes can I take?

Almost everything, one can start here without any experience or already have several years of experience.

We work here on the principle, you make what you want (if experience allows) you can start on it and get guidance.

If you just want to use the space and equipment, you can do that too.

Want to put basic training? Need help creating more complex material, etc.?

So a lot is possible!
