Day of crafts 2018
Be sure to come to our open house on Sunday, November 18! On the day of crafts 2018, Dva18 for short, Hans Sandor Nagy and Sofie Janssens will give some fascinating demonstrations and interesting info sessions.
The Day of the Crafts is an initiative of the FPS Economy, SMEs, the Self-Employed and Energy, organized with the support of the Federal Minister of SMEs and the Self-Employed. The first edition of this day was organized in 2006. Since then, the popularity of this day has been increasing both among craftsmen and visitors.
What can you expect at the 2018 Day of Crafts?
Hans Sandor and Sofie will each give various demonstrations on the day of crafts:
Sofie tells you all about old gold and how you can have beautiful contemporary jewelry made from it again, and if the old gold is a bit scratched and worn she conjures this worn jewelry back to new. You then get the opportunity to follow every step of the way.
Hans Sandor will show you how diamonds are put under microscope ( you can watch this live on big screen). The art of hand engraving is also demonstrated in a fun way. In addition, you will get all the necessary information about diamonds, and how to forge jewelry step by step!
